How do I send my voted ballot to the Auditor's Office?

Voters need to remember the following things when returning their voted ballots to the Auditor's Office.

• Make sure you place your voted ballot inside the secrecy envelope and place the secrecy envelope inside the return envelope.

• Make sure to sign and date the affidavit on the back of the return envelope.

• Voted ballots must be returned to the Auditor's Office no later than 7:00 P.M. CST on Election Day, Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

• A secure ballot drop box is available near the main entrance at the front of the McLean County Courthouse located at 712 5th Avenue in Washburn if you do not want to mail your ballot back. In order for the ballot to be counted, it must be placed in the drop box no later than 7:00 P.M. CST on Election Day, Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
